Setting up your Wallet

Creating a crypto wallet has never been easier. To get your Bitget Wallet up and running, just follow the 3 easy steps below.

Step 1: Launch your newly-downloaded Bitget Wallet app, and tap "Create a Wallet". You may also choose to import an existing wallet, in which case you will need to key in the associated mnemonic phrase to bring it online on to your Bitget Wallet App.

Step 2: Choose between securing your new wallet with either a 12-word or 24-word mnemonic phrase, depending on your security preferences. 24-word phrases are more secure, but may be more difficult to remember. Do remember to store your mnemonic phrase securely.

Step 3: Set a security pin code. Just as with your mnemonic phrase, do ensure that it is stored securely.

Step 4: Choose to enable notifications to keep track of the dynamic trading scene from your Bitget Wallet, and set a nickname for your wallet for easy management and identification. Alternatively, you may also opt to use an existing DID domain name as your wallet's nickname if you have one.
