1. Mainstream Exchange Trends:

  • Binance has completed the Stratis (STRAX) token swap and redenomination. Deposits and withdrawals for new STRAX tokens are now open.
  • Binance will support the NFPrompt (NFP) contract swap. Withdrawals of old NFP tokens will be suspended at 09:00 (UTC) March 28, 2024. Binance will make a separate announcement after the event is completed to notify users when deposits and withdrawals of new NFP tokens will be opened.

2. Cryptocurrency Trends:

  • On March 29, Bitwise filed a spot Ethereum ETF application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
  • According to the official announcement on March 29, the Wormhole airdrop will be available for claiming on April 3 at 11:30 AM (UTC).
  • According to Reuters, SBF was sentenced to 25 years in prison in New York for defrauding billions of dollars.
  • Parcl, a Solana-based real estate trading platform, has released its tokenomic details: 75 million PRCL tokens will be allocated to its early adopters while 1 million PRCL will be rewarded to Mad Labs holders.

3. Financing Trends:

  • Midas, an RWA project, raises $8.75 million in seed round funding led by BlockTower, Framework, and HV Capital, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Ledger, GSR, Hack VC, Axelar, FJ Labs, among others.
  • FLock.io, a Web3 AI project, raises $6 million in seed round funding led by Lightspeed Faction and Tagus Capital, with participation from DCG, OKX Ventures, Volt Capital, among others.
  • The 'intent-centric' Web3 operating protocol dappOS has completed a $15.3 million Series A funding round at a valuation of $300 million.

4. Regulatory Trends:

  • On March 29, Bloomberg reported that the US and UK are reviewing more than $20 billion of cryptocurrency transactions that passed through a Russia-based virtual exchange. The payments in question went through Moscow-based crypto exchange Garantex using the dollar-pegged cryptocurrency Tether.
