FAQ - Common Reasons of Unsuccessful Withdrawal

Here are some common reasons that why your withdrawal requests are unsuccessful:

Types/Reasons Explanations
Some of your coins are reserved/locked

If your funds are reserved due to assets being frozen when placing orders, locked during P2P trading or fiat trading; you are unable to proceed your withdrawal request. You may check if there is any [Reserved] status at [Spot Account].

Withdrawal amount exceeded the available coins from Spot Account

Please be informed that you only be able to withdraw available funds from Spot Account. If the withdrawal amount is lesser than you requested, it may be due to:

  • Your funds are reserved/locked
  • Trading bonuses cannot be withdrawn
Pending for Network Confirmation / Status of blockchain: Unconfirmed / Withdrawal status on Bitget: Still In Progress

A successful withdrawal requires block confirmations depending on the blockchains. You may check the required network confirmation from [On-Chain Deposit] page.

Your [Cancel Withdrawal] feature is currently turned on

You have to wait at least a minute to withdraw your funds if you have turn on this feature.

Invalid withdrawal address

When you enter an incorrect address, system will display an error message: [Address Verification Failed]. Please re-confirm the address and network/chain with your recipient.

Missing or wrong tag/memo to withdraw specific coins

Some coins (e.g. XRP, EOS) are required to fill in the tag/memo before making a withdrawal request. Please re-confirm the correct tag/memo from the other platform/exchange/wallet. Missing or incorrect tag/memo will result in loss of assets.

24 hours of withdrawal restriction

For any changes of security item, your withdrawal function of Bitget account will be restricted for 24 hours. Such as:

  • Modify/reset of 2FA or Google Authentication (GA)
  • Modify of fund code
  • Change/reset of account/login password
  • Change of registered email address
  • Change of mobile number

Please submit your withdrawal request after the 24 hours restriction is lifted.

Withdrawal Limit has been exceeded

For users of different VIP levels, there is a difference in the withdrawal amount after completing identity verification.

Withdrawal amount is less than minimum requirement

Each coin has its minimum requirement of withdrawal. You can always check the minimum withdrawal amount from the Withdrawal page after selecting the coin type.

The network/chain is under temporary suspension

Some rare occasion happens when your withdrawal request is in progress but the network/chain has been temporarily suspended due to network upgrade or wallet maintenance. You can try it again once the service is resumed. Alternatively, kindly check our latest announcement of deposit/withdrawal.
