What is futures grid trading?

Futures grid is a automated futures trading bot that buys low and sells high within a specific price range. You only need to set the highest and lowest prices of the range and determine the number of grids to start running a bot. The bot calculates the price for each grid and is designed to place orders automatically to earn profits as the market fluctuates. Futures grid currently supports all USDT pairs. Support for Coin-M futures will be added at a later date.

Application of futures grids

The core function of futures grids is to take advantage of market fluctuations. If you expect to find yourself in a volatile market for a long period of time, putting the futures grid feature to work might be a good idea.

Getting started with futures grid trading

Log in to your Bitget account.

Go to Trade > Trading bots > Futures grid to enter the trading page.

Select the pair you wish to trade (such as BTCUSDT perpetual futures).

Choose to go long or short (support for neutral grids will be added in the future).

Under AI mode, Bitget recommends the bot parameters based on market history.

You only need to fill in the investment amount to create the bot.

Use your own judgment and make decisions based on specific conditions.

Fill in the price range, number of grids, investment amount, take-profit, stop-loss, and other parameters to create the bot.

Take BTCUSDT long as an example. After creating the bot, you can view your orders in Futures grid > Current Strategy.

Select a futures grid bot, and click Details to view the bot details, or click Terminate to terminate the bot.

You can have the system close positions for you at market price, or close them manually.

All orders will be canceled upon termination of the futures grid bot.

Futures grid bot tips

Once the current price exceeds the highest/lowest price in the range, the bot will no longer operate.

If the price continues to run outside the range, your positions may incur losses or be liquidated.

To minimize risks, you should always set a reasonable stop-loss price when creating bots.

The invested funds will be isolated from your trading accounts and used exclusively for grid bots.

Be aware of the risk of liquidation due to changes in the assets of your trading accounts.

If a coin experiences an unpredictable or unusual event, such as suspension or delisting, the corresponding grid bots will be automatically terminated.

It is recommended that you make informed decisions after carefully reading the description of the Bitget futures grid product in full and making a reasonable assessment of your risk appetite.

With grid trading, profits have never been easier.
