Kenya to launch digital ID cards for citizens in December 2023
Kenyan government plans to launch a digital identification system in December 2023, after the testing period. The digital ID card will be introduced along with Maisha Namba, a lifelong personal identification number system assigned to Kenyan citizens during registration.
