Bitcoin's market value is once again surpassed by silver
Silver's market value has once again surpassed that of Bitcoin, making it the eighth largest asset in the world by market cap. CoinGecko data shows that since Bitcoin reached its historical high of $73,737 on March 14th, silver has risen by 33.4%, while Bitcoin has fallen by 9.5%. Silver's current market value is $1.828 trillion, which is approximately $500 billion higher than Bitcoin's market value of $1.322 trillion. This means that Bitcoin would need to rise by 40% to reach $93,000 in order to surpass silver's current market value (assuming other factors remain constant). According to Trading Economics data, gold has also performed well, rising by 22.4% since February 13th, with a current market value of $16.392 trillion.
